moka pots are great for people who want one shotglass worth of coffee for a lot of work and a difficult clean up

I bought a stovetop griddle that covers two burners. it is so easy to cook on and clean.

Any kind of electric kettle. You can make tea, cup noodles, etc; anything you need a liter of hot water or so for, a kettle can handle, and it'll do it much faster than a pot of water on the stove would.

Spices of any sort from Trader Joe's; identical prices to Walmart's "Great Value" spices, but of infinitely higher quality. Trader Joe's Onion Salt and Citrusy Garlic are incredible.
