Say His Name

Say His Name

“They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.”
-Jeremiah 6:14

Everything comes a back to cross. Every knee will bow. Christianity in the west has been watered down. The worry among Christians has always been that they will come and force us to renounce Christ. They didn’t have to do that because they’ve given Christians a false perception of religion. Telling us love is tolerance and confrontation is hate. They’ve made us docile dogs. Look at who our supposed closest religious ally is, the Jews. All through the history of the church we’ve tried to convert them and help them. They’ve never been able to get along. Now they have power over us and we are ok with it. A religion that is explicitly antichristian tells us to kill Muslims in the middle east and we obey.

I digress, we must return to Orthodox Christianity. We are at a point where true Christianity will be underground just as it was in the early church. A secular reader may ask  “How can their be so many churches in the west if they are looked down upon so?”. Great question, we’ve been played an awful trick. Go into these churches with thousands of people and what will you get? Evangelicals doing stand up routines and speaking in vague inspirational terms.

“Once he finds himself in the thick of battle, this knight sets aside his previous gentleness, as if to say, “Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord; am I not disgusted with your enemies?”

– St. Bernard of Clairvaux

Tears of Rachel

The only way Christians feel they can stand up to the world is through martyrdom. Cassie Bernall and Rachel Scott’s death is the columbine massacre has revolutionary transformed American Christianity. The myth that was spread was that the shooter’s asked their victims “Do you believe in God?” before their deaths. This was debunked but that didn’t stop their parents to spread the story. This has created in the Christians a dream to be killed for Christ. If someone were to break into their house and rape their wife, how could I say they would defend themselves? The world has created this belief in them to lower the threat.

“The Knight of Christ, I say, may strike with confidence and die yet more confidently, for he serves Christ when he strikes, and serves himself when he falls. Neither does he bear the sword in vain, for he is God’s minister, for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of the good. If he kills an evildoer, he is not a mankiller, but, if I may so put it, a killer of evil. He is evidently the avenger of Christ towards evildoers and he is rightly considered a defender of Christians.

Should he be killed himself, we know that he has not perished, but has come safely into port. When he inflicts death it is to Christ’s profit, and when he suffers death, it is for his own gain. The Christian glories in the death of the pagan, because Christ is glorified; while the death of the Christian gives occasion for the King to show his liberality in the rewarding of his Knight.”

– Saint Bernard of Clairvaux

Washed In The Blood

It is urgent that you get right with God. God’s word and the teachings of the Saints were made for the exact circumstances that we are in right now. Firstly, you will need to hold strong to the truth. Secondly, you must work to remain unstained from this world. Thirdly, you must work to spread the gospel and to enact the gospel.

“The Cross enables the truth to triumph because the Gospels disclose the falseness of the accusation; they unmask Satan as an imposter. Or to say it in another way, they discredit once and for all the untruth of the principalities and powers in the wake of the Cross.”
