Kendrick Lamar – Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers ALBUM REVIEW

This sucks.

Kendrick was my favorite rapper. It’s just so boring. Comparing this to his last album DAMN it’s not even close. DAMN was an album about fame, religion, and ancestral heritage. Mr. Morale is low energy and sounds like it’s a rip off of rappers that Kendrick inspired half a decade ago. the track Auntie Diaries is literally about a tranny. Worldwide Steppers is about fucking white girls as revenge for slavery. Then there’s lines like this:

“Seen a Christian say the vaccine mark of the beast
Then he caught COVID and prayed to Pfizer for relief
Then I caught COVID and started to question Kyrie”

We all know this is cringe and it is disappointing to see the guy who wrote the Holy Key verse say this garbage but even ignoring all that this just isn’t fun. I was at skating at the park the night DAMN dropped and it was like an adrenaline shot. This is melatonin. 

I’m feeling a light 1 to a strong 2 on this thing. What do you guys think of this thing? Do you love it? Do you hate it? What should I review next? Anthony Fantano. Kendrick Lamar. Forever.
