Free Your Mind: An Essay On This 40

U Have Nothing 2 Lose

If the world is against the truth then I am against the world.
St Anthanasius

Are you a good person? You look at yourself and your life and think that you are. You may remember a few times when others affirmed this. They are all incorrect. Another character would hear this question and immediately know they are the opposite of good. Maybe they’ve made some bad decisions or have been called out as negative. This person is correct. We are all born sinners. You can not follow the examples of excellency showcased in our country and call yourself righteous. Modern times has completely twisted morality. Virtues that are upheld by the mainstream are tolerance, kindness, passivity, self-fulfillment, understanding, etc. Theses values completely oppose the fruits of the spirit.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
-Galatians 5:22-23

Why Don’t you Give In Already?

We must destroy these false virtues. Not to destroy for destruction’s sake, as the Jacobins do, but to make sure our doctrine is uncorrupted when we spread. Unmask them for what they are so that the deceived will stop spreading this symptom of modernity. One way to do this would be to drag the ideas that are so prevalent in wrecking our society to their natural conclusions. Nihilism: The Root of the Revolution of the Modern Age is a great essay by Father Seraphim that helps to explain those post-Enlightenment philosophies which called for an abandonment of the Absolute and Truth. Once we understand these ideas we can show people what they lead to. We know worldly things will pass away and instead focus on furthering and preparing for the Kingdom of God.
The true Nihilist places his father [Satan] in things that pass away and end in nothing; all ‘optimism’ on this foundation is clearly futile. The Christian, renouncing such vanity places his faith in the one thing that will not pass away, the Kingdom of God.
-Father Seraphim Rose

Fear and Loathing In New Babylon

You must completely reject the things of this world and focus on what’s immanent. Influence and persuade others to join you. Build a community and strengthen it. As we are right wing we know we aren’t going to have utopia on earth. This doesn’t mean you can’t have a good time here. We endorse the romantic and poetic worldviews and one aspect of those respectively is creating and having an adventurous spirit.

I need drugs, somebody fix me
When I die I’m a try to take the whole world with me

Slaves of Suburbia

“An astonishing 61 percent of the emerging adults had no moral problem at all with materialism and consumerism.” “An added 30 percent expressed some qualms but figured it was not worth worrying about.” “America has lived a long time off its thin Christian veneer, partly necessitated by the Cold War,” Smith told me in an interview. “That is all finally being stripped away by the combination of mass consumer capitalism and liberal individualism.”

The modern man has a very strange framework given to him. He must follow neoliberalist propaganda, reject the metaphysical and embrace materialism. The 80s and 90s of this working in keeping the people content. Now the façade is failing and we are seeing the effects of this in real time. In turn, they are having to construct stranger and more obtuse narratives to keep the modern man at bay.
